No Audio From Playback

When I start the playback I can see the blue bar moving but no sound plays. I have check my speakers and tried both reverting to factory settings and going to view > synthesizer and fiddling anround to try and get some sound out of it. I have tried restarting the application aswell however it still doesn't work.
