No Sound/Playback

Hello all,

A few days ago, MuseScore stopped all playback after a Windows 10 update. I read numerous forum posts about the issue and nothing has helped--I have tried restarting, reverting to factory settings, repairing the installation, even uninstalling and reinstalling, all to no avail. The playback window is grayed out as well as View>Synthesizer and the PortAudio dropdown menus. It seems as is MuseScore can't communicate with my soundcard. It worked previously and I know it isn't a hardware problem because Ableton Live, YouTube, etc. all still function just fine.

Any ideas on a fix?
