RESOLVED --- Crescendos deformed, random slurs appear, overlapping text, etc when score is uploaded

• Jan 22, 2018 - 21:47

So I created my first score, but when I uploaded it and viewed it online, a few decrescendos appeared smaller than when I first placed them, random slurs appeared in places they shouldn't be, text is overlapping between lines, etc. These errors do not appear when I am editing the document offline. I tried going offline and deleting the crescendos that appear deformed online and replacing them, but when I went back online, they were still deformed.
The issues ONLY appear when viewing online, NOT when editing offline.
I don't know how to fix this, and I need this score for a performance in less than two weeks, so I would very much appreciate help as soon as possible.
Thank you all in advance :)
Score is titled "Sax Solo"
NOT FOUND: Sax Solo.mscz
Measures with issues are:
Slurs: 15
Overlapping Text: 6 & 10
Crescendos: 7, 25* 52, 67, and 72
*May just be small, not deformed

The problem with the slurs is that you have either dragged the end to put it where you want or put it in edit mode and used ctrl+arrows to make it look like what you want. The proper way to add slurs is either

  1. Enter a note, press s to start a slur on that note, enter the remaining notes under the slur then press s again
  2. Enter the notes, click the first note, shift+click or ctrl+click then press s to apply the slur
  3. Enter the notes, click the first note and press s to apply a slur, then put slur in edit mode (either double click it, select it and press ctrl+e or right click it and choose edit element). The end of the slur will have the solid box, press shift+right arrow to extend the end of the slur, keep pressing shift+arrow until all the notes are covered by the slur.

I'll cover the text and crescendos in future posts to help keep the posts shorted.

edit: if you solved it I guess I won't post anything else. It would be nice to know how you solved it though.
