Send keyboard keys in plugin

Dear musescore coders,

some features are not yet codeable in the plugin environment of musescore or I just don't know how to do it (or are a little bit buggy). Nevertheless, it would be an awsome feature to be able to send keyboard inputs to musescore via plugin.

Is there a possibility to do that in the musescore plugin environment?
For example to add lyrics or to change the note head direction of all notes higher than a c'.
