How to add linked staff to part, but not to full score?
I had a song in .gp5 format where there was a violin and a guitar, both written in tablatures. When I opened it in musescore, the main score had only the actual scores, while both violin and guitar parts had scores AND tablatures. How can I replicate this in a brand new project?

Yiu can't, at least not in a way that is likely not to break. It's not really supported or something that would normally ever be done in published sheet music, it's just an accident of the odd way GP structures its files.
