I need suggestions.
I am stuck with this piece. I can't seem to figure out what kind of accompaniment to put in some parts (like in bars 27-29, 51-54 and 130-140). I'm also not sure if my counterpoint is alright. Can you guys help?
Also, if there's something wrong with the mixing, use GeneralUser GS soundfont (http://www.schristiancollins.com/generaluser.php). In my opinion, I think the violin in this soundfont is too loud, so I changed some of the knobs in the mixer so that the two violins don't drown out the viola and the cello.

the mixer is for your own playback; dont count on it to help post a nice midi the way you want it sound online. Use accents, dynamics and dynamic markings to get the balance and volume stable. Almost all violin sfz's will drown lower strings, just cuz "higher frequency and computers still aren't musicians" you can layer in extra viola parts/octaves and same for cello thats what I do. So instead of SATB my musescore string arr might look more like SSAAATTTTBB, dig?

Sure, but I'm not making MIDI's.
This website helped me with panning and reverb for an orchestra...they suggested reverb the first violin part, 2nd violin has slightly less reverb, then slightly less reverb than the violins for viola

I don't understand.
Why's everyone talking about MIDI's?

In this thread you're the only one to talk about MIDI's (well, now me too)
