settings for the amount of space between measures for different parts and/or between each line of music

Ya know how word has the option to have a paragraph single or double spaced? It could be useful to have that feature on this program depending on the person's preferences. Someone might like each part clearly defined with larger spaces in between parts. Another person may want to see all the parts and therefore prefer to have the parts closer together to see how they fit together more clearly for a busier song with many parts. The ability to adjust the text for the title/subtitle both vertically and horizontally is quite nifty btw. I do like the fun things one can do with this program.... and play with text colors and fonts too! :P

haha, nevermind...I just learned that you can change staff spacing by clicking on the text labeling instument name for each staff and selecting staff properties from the menu. always learning new features and nifty things with Musescore. nice!

I think you might be talking about something different, though. Staff properties isn't the general way for changing spacing - instead you should using Style / General / Page. There are separate settings for grand staff distance (spacing within the two staves of a piano part), staff distance (spacing between different instruments within a system), and system distance (distance between systems). The thing you can do in Staff Properties is add extra space for that staff alone within the system - in other words, to create irregular spacing within the system. This is done, for example to set the strings in an orchestra a bit further from the rest of the instruments.
