Styles in Parts are not stored in template
I use parts in my scrore.
In the parts I want to change the style of the Partname.
I change the seeting, apply to all parts and save my stylesheet as the default stylesheet (selected for score and parts in my settings).
But When I create a new score the style in my parts is back to default.
It seems if I save the syles, the styles for parts are not saved.
I would be more happy that the style for parts is the same as the style for my score. Why have different styles for the same text?

It's not uncommon to want different style settings between score and parts - things like staff spacing, etc, relative sizes of certain types of text, etc. The changes you make to your score style get inherited by the parts automatically if you generate the parts after making the style changes. Otherwise, you can hit the Apply to All Parts button when making the style change in your score.
Also be aware you can override styles for parts in Edit / Prferences / Score.
If you continue to have trouble, please attach the score/template you are working on and describe in more detail what you'd like to see happen.

I tried the overide functionality by poinint to the same styles for Score and parts without succes.
My problem remains.
If I work in a score and change the style in the parts, there is no problem, as long as i am in that score the part-styles are correct.
But when I do the same in the score that I use as a template, the part-styles are reset to default if I create a new style using my template. While in the template score itself the styles are correct.
It looks like the new score does not get the used part-style. So everyime I create a new score I have to set the desired styles in my parts and use them in all styles.
I think it would be a nice future to have the part styes saved in the styles file also.

I see. Really, it was not intended that templates would already include the generated parts at all. You should normally generate them only after entering most of your music, for performance reasons but also for maximum effectiveness with regard to linking.
In your case, what you really should do is change the text style in the score, and do this before generating the parts. If you've already generated the parts, that's OK, just make the change in the score too. Now parts generated from that score will inherit that change, including when you use that score as a template.
If you desire your parts to use different styles than the score, I'd suggest simply saving the style you like for parts using Style / Save Style and then specifying this as the default style for parts in Edit / Preferences / Score. Then all generated parts will use those setting. But again, that's not needed here. You don't actually want your parts different from the score, so don't try that - simply make the change to the score.

Thank you for this addition, it is very useful to understand how you are suppost to use it.
This certainly will help me when creating new scores.
I used to start with styling to see directly the result when creating the score.
But is a mindset you can also create the score, don't mind layout and styling in the first place and do that when the score is ready.
