Range of notes
Is there a way I can put in a highest and lowest note for my peice so that it never goes beyond that? It keeps jumping to an octave way to high or low for me and I wish to change this. Thanks if you can help!

No. MuseScore puts the note (mostly) into the nearest octave. If it goes too high or low press ctrl+ arrows to move it up or down an octave.
