lyrics too close together
I apologize in advance, because I know I found this once before but I can't locate the cheat sheet that I made.
How can I adjust the lyrics so that the words don't run together? Making a lead sheet for church and it's a mess.

Try Style/Text/Lyrics (Odd/Even) Lines to adjust the offset.

You can increase the minimum note distance, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/general-style-measure
Or add system breaks, so you have less measures per line.

You can also adjust Individual measure spacing with the shift (bracket) keys. This works for me most of the time.
