Beams

Hello,

I am working on a piece in six-four time, and I am trying to figure out how to beam eighth notes in pairs, instead of in groups of six. The piece would be conducted in six, therefor it makes sense to beam 6 pairs of eighth notes. As of right now, it looks like it would be conducted in two, and that is not the case.

I figured out how to separate all of the eighth notes, and how to create a pair, but as soon as I go to link the next pair, it automatically connects to the previous pair. I am not sure how to do this, so any help would be appreciated.
