Creating ossia/changing score order in parts only
I'm working on a string quartet score and have created linked parts, and now need to create an ossia for violin 1 (e.g. cues from the viola part) in the part itself (not in the score). I went to create the ossia as I have in the past (selecting small staff and hiding empty staves) but cannot figure out how to change the score order in the part only so the viola cues appear over the violin part. Is there a way to go about this?
I should also mention the cues aren't during empty measures of rest... the violin part has extended tremolo when I want to add the cues.

You will have to add the ossia to both the score and the parts, but you can make the viola notes invisible. Select them, maybe use the selection filter to limit yourself to only the viola notes. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/copy-and-paste#selection-filter
