Spacing between staffs
I need help with the spacing of my staffs. I tried what other people have recommended, but it has not worked for me. Just to let you know, the number of instruments I have are 56.

And what page format?
Could you attach here your score?

What are you trying to do? Increase or decrease staff distance for readability? Fit 56 instruments on the page instead of, for example, 39?

Thank you for fixing my problem. That helped me a lot. ;-) Next time I should use A2 for music with many parts.

The first thing I would recommend you do is combine all instrument 1 and instrument 2 into a singe staff. You can then put instrument 1 notes in voice 1 and instrument 2 notes in voice 2. Also, why do you have both Contrabass and Double Bass, these are two names for the same instrument. This will get rid of 10 staves. I would also
The next thing I would do is enter the score in continuous view, without worrying about fitting the instruments on the page. Once that is done, you can use Hide Empty staves to display only staves with notes on them in each system. Once this is done you can worry more about fine tuning the layout.
