Opening a PDF file from musescore using Illustrator (Illustrator CS) corrupts that character.
Is there a solution?

I remember some conversation (that I can't find) on the 'Bravura' font. If I remember correctly, it should not be installed on the PC.

How did you create the PDF? Third party PDF utilities usually won't work because MuseScore has built-in fonts they cannot access properly. You should use File / Export from within MuseScore. And then also be sure you don't have your own conflicting version of MsueScore's internal fonts installed on your system - no MScore, no Bravura, no Gonville.
