MDL sounds in imported file
I am having trouble with playback of MDL sounds in a score I am working on. I imported it as .xml file from Sibelius. When I try to playback MDL drumline sounds, I get nothing when played in the context of the full score. However, I do get playback when I playing isolated parts. Help!

Unless the Sibelius file was created using the exact same mapping of drum notes to MIDI pitches - which generally would be the case only for General MIDI, not something like MDL - you're going to have to expect to fix things up manually after an import. Did you take any explicit actions to map the Sibelius pitches to MDL pitches? As it is, your file seems to crash MuseScore for me, suggesting other things went wrong during the import as well.

Thanks for your thoughts. I actually got to the bottom of the problem after posting. The arranger who worked in Sibelius had a bunch of instrument changes in the synth part that were the problem. Once I deleted all of the spurious instrument changes, I was able to make the sounds work!
