How do I load a new style?
I'm struggling to find a way to load a style. The only other style is Jazz swing and I am looking for others such as Samba etc.
How would I load a new style?

Set your style, save and then 'load'.
It's not really clear what you mean by "style" here. MuseScore supports the concept of "style" as a collection of settings controlling the display of your score - fonts, defaults sizes and positions of things, etc. But I can't think of any sense in which you'd need different fonts, sizes, or positions of things for jazz versus samba. Sounds like maybe you are talking about something having to do with playback? Like, whether you want straight eighths or swung, or maybe you want the sixteenths to swing instead of the eighths, or want the effect to be subtler? ? You can add the Swing text from the palette, change the text to say "Samba", then tweak the settings by right-clicking it and going to System Text Properties / Swing Settings.
If that doesn't help, please explain in more detail what you are are trying to do.
