The way ties work

Something I really like is the way, when I am going back to fill in harmonic voices and therefore have the first part of a chord that wants extension via a tie, once I have the 2nd(3rd/more) part of the chord I want to tie, all I have to do is select that tie option and the whole chords ties properly, regardless of duration. I find it very useful as I use a lot of syncopation.
