Increasing the number of bars per line
I'm in the process of learning MuseScore, and will then migrate over, with Finale stopping further suppport for their PrintMusic.
I've exported a score from PrintMusic as mxml, and successfully imported into MuseScore. However, I can't match the original score bars per line. I've found the Layout/Increase or decrease layout stretch, but in the score I have it limits to 7 bars and no further, yet my original that I want to match has 8 bars per line.
Any ideas that I'm missing?

without seeing the score, the first thing I would do is use layout->page settings and decrease the scaling to make everything smaller.
