Is there an option to have a rest fill the rest of the measure in musescore 2?
Because I have some pretty ugly rests in my score (see attached image) I don't know if this is normal for scores or if there's something i can do to extend the quarter rest to cover the 16th and not invade the next measure. Thanks!

I believe that MuseScore applies correct writing.
You can press 'V' to make it invisible or adjust the measure duration
e.g. click on the rest-> Edit/Bar->Split measure
The problem is that you have some pretty ugly note locations in the measure. It is very difficult to find the beats.

This is a better presentation of the measure. To make the rests like I did, press the duration (4 for an 8th note for example) then 0 for the rest.
