How do you join staves to make a grand stave?
I'm trying to write a combined notation and tablature piece of music that has two parts played at the same time.
Ordinarily you'd use a grand staff/stave with notation only, however I'm trying to write it with tablature also.
One line of music would look like this on the page (all combined to play at the same time:
Notation Part 1
Tablature Part 1
Notation Part 2
Tablature Part 2
Please help...

it's not clear to me what you're getting at, but take a look at

then use copy and paste.

You don't where you are starting from, but if you you having nothing now, then when you create your score with File / New, click Choose Instruments in the wizard, then add two guitars (?), then for each, select the staff and use Add Linked Staff to add the staff for the tab, then use the dropdown at right to change the staff types to tablature. If you started with the Guitar + Tablature template, that's fine, now go to Edit / Instruments and add another guitar and the other staff.
