alternate measure durations

I have a composition i want to transcribe with musescore in which there is a pattern of measure duration changes: 6/8, 5/8, 6/8, 7/8 which is repeated many times. Is there a way to set this up so i only create the pattern and then i just copy and paste it?
i tried copying just two measures, but when i paste them, the measure durations don't change. the music is re written with the last measure duration i used.
