I created a clarinet part with the wrong key signature. I have the part written in concert G with a key signature of A major (3 sharps). How do I get the key signature back to G major without also changing the notes? If I transpose the notes up the key signature also changes again. Thanks for any helop.

I've tried that. No mater what I seem to do I have the wrong key signature shown. How can I separate the key signature from the notes and change it short of printing it wrong and literally "white-outing" each lines key signature? When I toggle to written pitch the key signature also moves up a whose step (to B maj). I need to leave the nots alone and just change the key signature. I can't seem to do it.

So it sounds like you are saying you simply entered the wrong key signature from the start (you entered concert G but meant to enter concert F), didn't notice it, then started entering notes, then noticed the wrong key signature, so you want to change the key signature but leave the notes in place?

If so, it's quite simple to fix - just open the Key Signatures palette and drag the correct concert pitch key signature (F) to the first measure of your score. The key signature change, the notes don't.

If that doesn't solve your problem, please attach your score and describe what you are trying to do in more detail, so we can understand and assist better.
