Hiding an Instrument for 1 Movement
I am creating a song in 2 movements, and they each have different instrumentation. How can I show an instrument used in the first movement and hide it in the second movement? Hiding empty staves will hide it no matter what movement it is in. I would appreciate any help, thanks!

Hide empty staves will not hide a staff if there are notes on it. Don't hide empty staves until you have entered all of the notes in all of the staves. If this proves impossible to get the results you want, due to other staves being hidden there are Three possible options. First, use two files. This will give total independence for the two scores. Another option is to make a measure with a silent and invisible note in an unused voice. Pastes this into every invisible system you want to see. Finally, you can right click and in staff properties check "Never Hide" if you have an instrument you always want to see in both movements.
