Specific Select Feature
Is it possible to select a specific tie based on its voice and, more importantly, its duration?
Follow up question, why won't tied notes change voices when selected? I select multiple measures to switch voices, but only the untied notes change. Is there a workaround?

I don't understand the first question. How would you go about specifying these parameters.
Follow up how is easier. There are two possible workarounds. First is to use Edit->Voices->Exchange voices... for the entire measures the ties are in. Exchange voices does not work on partial measures. You may then need to move some of the other notes back to the correct voice. The other workaround is to remove the tie, switch voices and then reapply the tie. I don't know the why of this limitation.
