Instrument selector bottom page missing
Hello, in the early stages of using Musescore i hat a given view (see attached) which i liked very much, especially the instrument selector at the bottom of the page. In recent musescore openings with new files i do not see this selector anymore. How to get back this i call it instrument selector view at the bottom of the page?

That view is part of the importing of a MIDI file process. As soon as that process is done, the view has no function anymore and is closed.

Thanks for feedback. But i do not understand.- There are older files i can always open with delivering automatically the bottom view of instruments like attached. But if i import new pdf's this option to select is not there and i see no way to add this view. Anyway how can I select out of f.e. 4 instruments only one selection?

Check the file format on those older files, they won't be MuseScore files, but MIDI files.
When converting a PDF, chances are you've either received a MusicXML or an mscz file; both of them are not MIDI files, thus don't show that import dialog.
If you want to filter out which instruments to keep in the total score; then go to Edit > Instruments (or press I). Select and remove unwanted instruments from the righthandside of the window.
If you do want all instruments in the score, but only which to extract a part, then see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/parts
