Entering the same note twice in a row using MIDI deletes the first note

• Jan 2, 2019 - 13:46

OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0.4785, revision: c1a5e4c

I'm not quite sure if this is a bug, because it might have to do with the instruments, but then at least there should be an option to turn it off. This didn't happen in 2.0.

  1. Create a new score
  2. Choose any vocal instrument (like "Alto")
  3. Click "Finish"
  4. Press N for note entry mode
  5. Press any key on a MIDI keyboard (that note appears on the first beat)
  6. Press that key again (that note appears on the second beat, but the first note becomes a rest)

I tested for a few different instruments - this happens for at least voices, harmonica, piano and trombone. But not for Bb Trumpet, somehow. While testing Alto Sax MS crashed, but that was probably for an entirely different reason.
