lost sheet music

I am a pretty serious song writer, and recently I was writing a song, wen my computer completely crashes. anyway, I reopened the musescore application, and usually, a "previous session quit unexpectedly, reload previous session?" and that makes dealing with this problem tolerable, however, this time, I never recived that option. it just reopened like nothing was wrong-at the same time deleting several scores. is there any way that those can be recovered?
