*Any way to change the color/size/transp... of the Player's-light-blue-vertical-scrolling--bar (on v2.0.3 and 3.0)?*

• Jan 6, 2019 - 05:19

Hi there...

As already noted, I'm in need to control the color (transparency could be great too) of the positioning bar while playing?... (mostly the VISUAL aspect, for kid's educational video purposes, if you want to know).

Also, someone there with some tricky workaround to make that bar static at the center in order to make the all-staff be the one actually scrolls from the right (like the speed-reader-apps)... and even more, to control the speed of that scrolling? For teaching and for remark of some particular occurrences, that would be a great tool.

I've was near "that-much" to de-compile the entire UI section to get that parameters... and nothing. Got several alternate tricks for some more standard questions on page formatting and individual element's customization, as result of that quest... but that was the only thing obtained... and the need still remains.

Seems there is a new tab on v.3.0 on wich this COULD BE adjusted (on the COLOR part)... that will be cool... but what about all the others?. Sure there was someone before me posting about this, but doesn't showed on my dive up-to page 74 of the forum.

The "best implemmentation" that still is not enough on the video-capture thing but improved someway the image contrast but fails on all the rest I've found and out-of-musescore-software, was invert video's colors, applying filters and others, but if is truth that improves slightly the visual aspect for dark-big-enviroments using a video-projector at 35ft. distance or more, as mine... well... that becomes critical on sharpness, coloring etc. because all the other colors than the blue-bar are affected the same... (but the inverted dark background HELPS ) Anyway light-blue; over white? will turn into dark yellow over dark grey/black are not preciselly the best color choices to put together to show different aspects... but are great for camouflage... lol.) And that AFTER apply a custom-made colored background to provide individual staff'parts some back-coloring-identifiers-at-distance for the chorus' ones to be followed... (and without change the musical notation AND the timed lyrics color-contrast at the same time). The pay do not compensate the extra work, but the global experience, yes.) I will apreciate sincerely all solution or alike to help on this. I consider pertinent to provide all these info for you to realize the need of some customers like me, 100% about musescore's musical edition capabilities, BUT not the common ones, as the visual output is considered the OUTPUT...

I'm posting THIS WAY to refresh the fact, for some of us, there is still more things to-do from there, and will be great if that is put into consideration for future improvements. I will be happy with have a tiny interface to be able to do that, and THAT, I believe; is still on your grounds and for your consideration, my Musescore's buddies.

Meanwhile... HELP!

Hope this XP could BE useful ...

Thanks in advance any answer, and re-thanks for all the work the already done and to-do too.
