MIDI keyboard

When Musescore3 (Windows 7, 64 bit) in step recording mode is used with my MIDI keyboard, I'm not able to input two the same consecutive notes one by one. If I press two times the same key on my MIDI keyboard, instead of two the same notes I always got a rest and one note only. The only workaround I have found so far is to input two DIFFERENT consecutive notes and correct one of them afterwards. The problem does not exists when computer keyboard is used, but to use MIDI keyboard is much more efficient for me than to use the computer keyboard input. Does anybody know any solution to insert double notes of the same pitch than to insert intentionally wrong note and to correct it afterwards?
