conflicting elements
I opened a score done on MuseScore 2 in MuseScore 3 only to have lyrics conflict with notes on a lower stave. There were no conflicts in MuseScore 2.
Any suggestions how to move the lyrics up to prevent conflicts?

Welcome Roy. It would be better to see the score. Try resetting them with Inspector
Attaching the version 2 score would allow us to look at how it imports. Perhaps this is a bug that needs fixed, but we would need to see the score that can open in version 2 to confirm this.
