Placing notes in a score
I'm using 2.3.2 due to it's ability to be used with my Mac version. I'm trying to add simple notes to a score and sporadically the notes will not "stick" to the staff - when I place a note and then move my curser the note comes with me. The situation corrected itself once today (after 40 minutes of trying to trouble shoot with no luck) and now in the middle of an assignment I'm completing it just stopped working again. I didn't change any settings and am in the ADD NOTE mode. Any help would be appreciated!

Attach here the score you are having problems with.
I suspect that you are not in Step-Time (Default) mode but probably re-pitch mode. If you click the N on the tool bar the circle next to the note input mode will be selected. I suspect you accidentally changed input modes.
