When You tie a note, how to make it not fade out (Decrescendo)
I am trying to have 1 note that sustains throughout the entire song, but when I try and tie the notes together, they just fade out. How do you make the note stay the same volume as when it was first played?
I have linked a picture of the note that I want to sustain.

You probably have the sound as a piano. Piano sound decays (fades) and MuseScore plays it that way. You can change the instrument to something that does not fade, pick a wind instrument and MuseScore will make it play no matter how unrealistic it is for one person to hold the note that long.
