Numbers of bars per line
I am wanting to create a listing of all modes within all keys having either 4 bars per line (one octave) or 8 (two octaves) for alto recorder. Each line will end on a final bar line.
In other words, I would like to have the following, each on their own line with the lines having as their headings:
Ionian
Dorian
Phrygian
Lydian
Mixolodian
Aeolian
Locrian
Comments
You can use Add/Remove system breaks to set the number of measures on a staff. 8 sounds unlikely to happen, for your purposes, 4 is probably doable.
