How to add divisi

I am composing a piece for cello, and in one measure, there is one cello playing a whole note and another cello playing a 16th and 8th note rhythm at the same time. The problem is, I don't know how to integrate the whole note and the 16th/8th note rhythm into a single measure. How do I integrate them?
