Musescore 3.0.2 Start Centre causes crash

I've just updated from 2.3.2 to latest 3.0.2. On running Musescore crashes when the Start Centre loads.
I tried starting from command line using -w. This did the trick and 3.0.2 starts and runs perfectly, so at least I have a workaround.
I disabled the Start Centre form the preferences dialog and Musescore starts normally. On selecting the Start Centre from the File menu, however, it crashes again.

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 17763)

It appears to be related to my graphics card - Intel(R) HD Graphics 630
