Deleting notes easily

To delete notes as far as I can see you have to select the note, right-click and click cut. This is rather a long-winded approach. Furthermore you cannot delete more than one note at a time. If when selecting a note you could use the backspace button it would be much easier. Also if you selected multiple notes or multiple bars and use the backspace button to delete all the notes that are selected. If there is already a quick way to delete notes I would be glad to know.

There are multiple way to delete severals notes at the same time. Select one note or shift + Arrow to select multiple notes.
THen press space or press suppr or Fn+backspace on mac.
Of course, it will not delete note but replace them by rests. But you know that's how MuseScore works because you already read Note entry right?

Thanks that's great. I have to admit that I did not read the entire manual from top to bottom. I'm not used to using the space bar to delete notes or as you rightly say to replace them with rests.
