MS 3 Hijacks soundcard

I can’t play Windows media player simultaneously with MS any more.

Working with Cubase and MS 2, MS 2 opened automatically the monitor speakers. MS 3 doesn’t do that.

Any settings somewhere I can fix this as it worked in version 2 ? There is nothing accessible in the I/O preference window.
