Extender lines
Is there a way to make extender lines (for text) in melismas go over a page turn? The regular method of repeating underscores in the lyric, which works normally, doesn't seem to here.

You can sort of fake it, see #3961: Melisma line over system break an in particular some of the responses, like #10, where workarounds are discussed.
[Ctrl][Shift]underscore, underscore does it for me most times. I wait till all music and lyrics have been entered and I'm certain of where the line- and page-breaks are then insert them on the note(s) on the next page or line.
A problem occurs of you want a long line (more than two underscores) since MuscScore centres the line as if this were a lyric and this can mess up your score spacing. When I want a long line I press 'L' (or Create->Text->Dynamics) and choose 'dolce' or something then double-click on the dynamic and add a series of underscores to this and then delete the text. Dynamics are left-aligned with the note rather than centred and MuseScore doesn't change the note spacing.
