3.0.5 piano roll editor is a drag (new bad "dragging" behavior)

A heavy user of the piano-roll editor, today I found notes in my score oddly corrupted, and found the reason. For some reason, the 3.5 PRE is PREdisposed to drag notes to other pitches when I least expect it. That is, the yellow bars sometimes move with my mouse unasked, and often I can't "drop" them. If you don't remember where they were stolen from, you're in trouble. It's easy enough to go back to the main window to change notes (but not undo an accidental move from a forgotten place). I would be delighted if the ability to drag notes in the PRE were simply removed. Dropping pianos are dangerous. This is not a good feature; I can't see why it's useful, and it's harmful.
