Bracket and Staff Collisions with Auto-Placement

When creating custom bracketing in a score (as pictured), I find that there is a collision consistently occurring when Auto Placement is left turned on.

I fixed it by turning auto placement off (also pictured).

Perhaps a rule can be created so that these sorts of collisions don't occur with auto-placement?
