Changing default note colour in musescore 3

I came across a musescore 2 tutorial on changing the musescore config file and editing/adding defaultColor=(ARGB hex code). I tried this with musescore 3, and it did not work.
Is there any way to do this and if there is, how do I change the colour? (same goes for text colour)
