Overtones on piano playback glitching.
At times when I'm listening to playback of a piece, I hear snippets of audio that are octaves above my highest notes written. They come in and out, and I maybe hear one every few run-throughs. I assume this is the playback compensating and trying to input natural harmonics into the piano midi, but they are way too loud. Not sure what else this could be. I double-checked that I didn't accidentally notate those notes, so I don't think that's the problem.
Edit: I'm listening to the grand piano instrument.

Try another piano (i.e. patch) in the mixer.
Use a different soundfont. See:

There is nothing that would go out of its way to do that, if there are such artifacts happening, they are happening naturally. Could be dependent on the samples / soundfont used, could also relate to your audio hardware, potentially. Feel free to attach a score where you are hearing this so we can investigate further.
