Repeat with incomplete bars

Hi everyone,
I was wondering how I can set a repeat (I used to know how to do it) that starts on part of a bar.
I mean, when there is an introduction and the piece is supposed to repeat at the end, starting again on the last beat of that introduction. (Hence leaving the last bar incomplete at finish).
Then the first repeat sign comes before the last beat of the first bar.

I hope I've explained this correctly and hopefully someone knows the answer.
