Crescendo and Decrescendo for tremolos?
So I've been working on a score recently. When I was working on the violin part I couldn't seem to get crescendos to work when I used tremolo on a note. Does anyone know if it is possible to gradually increase or decrease the volume in a tremolo?

Not until 3.1 is released. Until then a tremolo is considered one note, and dynamics don't currently change on a single note.
Crescendo on a single note is a yet-to-be-released feature. I don't know if it will work with tremolo. For now, you can get the effect of crescendo + tremolo by writing it out.

Even when writing it out, a crescendo on a violin tremolo may be difficult to obtain if the soundfont's violin sample has a long attack time. The faster the tremolo, the more this becomes apparent.
