Lost Score
Hi,
I spent several hours making a score, then carefully closed and saved it. When I came back later, my score had disappeared. I've tried looking at the recently used ones but I can only find ones which existed before I did the hours of work this afternoon. How can I recover the work?

Thankyou, I found that page. I got stuck though once I made hidden files visible-I don't know where to look. Do you?

Look in the same folder as your score.
If, after following the others' sensible advice, you still can't find the backup scores... Open up Windows Explorer, and double-click on the C: drive, or "This PC". You want to search the whole disk. Now up in the top right-hand corner of the Explorer window, find the Search entry slot. Type mscz and hit Return. In 5 or so minutes time you'll see all the files, including .mscz and .mscz, types. Look at the time on the files, to find the likely backup. Be careful you don't damage it.
