Why is portato/louré not available in the configurable "Preferences" command/keystroke assignment table?
Why is that articulation not in this table? If I find it more useful for "p" than "show a piano keyboard", I should have that choice. Ditto with other articulations for which someone might find intensive use. Nothing is taken away by appearing, unassigned to a key, in this table.

Simple: Because it is not (yet) implemented. Feel free to open a feature request (Suggestion) in the issue tracker
