Feature Request: allow both old and new way of looping

With the recent changes in the beta version which allows the exclusive looping of selected staff, the hidden staffs no longer play. There is no way to play all the staffs of a section, if any are hidden, at least to my knowledge. I would like to be able to do both: to select individual staffs to loop and to include hidden staffs in the loop. How do other people feel about this change in looping behavior. Perhaps, there needs to be two options when selecting the loop button much like how some audio players will change the loop icon to different states (e.g., loop song, loop playlist, etc).
