Custom Palette on Mac with Musescore 2

So I just started using the software, I really enjoy how easy it is once you get used to it, but I have a few questions. I've been trying to make a custom palette because I'm a percussionist and I've been needing to score for percussion. A lot of those symbols don't have shortcuts and I need to be able to access them faster than having to use the master palette. I tried using your handbook to right click on the palette's name, but it didn't work. All that comes up is a box that asks if I want a single palette. I made my custom workshop but right clicking the name “Palette” for the existing one on the program doesn’t bring me to a menu to enable editing. Am I clicking the wrong spot? Thank you!
