Phantom whole rests on bass clef
I'm not sure how, but there are some whole rests on my bass clef that I can't delete. Check out my screenshot. I have tried selecting them and pressing delete -- no go. Can anyone help?

Select measures->Tools/Voices/Exchange Voice 1/3?
Always use as few voices as possible. 1 and 2 also for TB

Thank you for the the quick response and tips. Exchanging the voices does not get rid of the rest. I think you're onto something, though. That rest is color-coded the same as voice 1 (blue). So the software is considering that rest as belonging to voice 1. Strange. I may have to just redo this entire file.

I re-tried what you suggested and realized that doing that made the rest turn red -- and in that state, there was no other voice left as red -- thus allowing me to delete the rest. That worked! Thank you!

You're welcome.

There is no need to use (MuseScore) voices 3 and 4 unless there are more than two parts in the same staff.
I'm guessing you made the common mistake of skipping voice 1 for the T & B parts. Don't do that. Each staff must start with voice 1. So, S & A are voices 1-2 in top staff, T & B are voices 1-2 in the bottom. You should only use voices 3 or 4 if you need more than two voices *on the same staff.
