Measures in a line
I cannot find it in the "Hanbook," is it possible to set the number of measures in a line or do I have to accept what's there?

Format->Add/Remove System Breaks
Or if you aren't creating the specific type of scores for which you need the same numebr of measures in a line, just add the line breaks manually, select a measure and hit Enter or use the Breaks & Spacer palette. Or change the default spacing in Format / Style / Measure if you just want more or fewer measures per line in general. or use Format / Stretch to override this for a selection. Lots of options, in fact.
